Hey friend,
Quick check-in from the cockpit. It’s been a minute (a month).
The silence wasn’t planned.
I just didn’t want to fill your inbox with fluff.
The truth is, I stopped writing for a month because I didn’t want to break the trust we’ve built here. If I didn’t have something real to say, I preferred to stay quiet.
And now? I’ve got something worth sharing.
Letterly is about to change. Big time.
I’ve been heads down, working on a massive update that’s dropping by the end of November.
Like, it’s not just an “update.” It’s practically a new app.
Smarter automations, better analytics, and way more personality in the content it creates.
I’ve been thinking like my users, and luckily, I am one.
As a newsletter writer myself, I know exactly what I want:
Something that helps me spend as little time as possible growing organically… while still growing organically (and way better than doing it manually), if you know what I mean.
That’s the bar I’m building toward now.
I also realized there’s such a thing as oversharing. Who knew?
I still want to keep this space open and honest, but I’ll be a bit more selective with what I share moving forward. You’ll still get the behind-the-scenes stuff, just with a little more intention.
In fact, I’ll drop a sneak peek screenshot of how the hero section is looking like. Just enough to keep you in the loop without giving away the secret sauce.

I love it!
New chapter: I got a job.
Yep. Amid all this chaos, I decided to stack one more plate.
I’m now working at an architecture studio here in Lisbon.
We’re a team of 14, and it’s already pushing me to learn and grow in ways I didn’t expect.
I’m balancing that with uni, Letterly, and somehow squeezing in 4 workouts a week.
The plan? Work until my thesis ends next semester (about 7 months). The job helps me pay Letterly’s bills (and stash away a little cash for myself).
Between Letterly, the job and the newsletter, I’m now hovering close to $1K MRR.
And that’s something I’m really proud of.

Writing with intention
If this month taught me anything, it’s that trust is built by showing up with something worth saying.
I don’t want to break that by sending noise. I’d rather write less often, but make sure every edition feels worth your time.
The next stretch is going to bring a few hard nights. The kind where caffeine becomes dinner and focus is the only thing keeping me going, but honestly, I’m kind of excited about it.
So that’s what this is.
A new chapter. A sharper version of Letterly.
And a reminder that progress doesn’t always look loud.

That's the latest from the hangar. Thanks for riding shotgun with me on this.
If you’re curious, want to test Letterly Beta, or just wanna say hi, reply to this. I read every one.
Talk soon,
Vicente
